Improving urban sanitation around the world - public lecture

Below is a Youtube video of a public lecture Dr Paul Hutchings gave as part University of Leeds Alumni team's "Meet the Researchers" series in March 2023. In it he discuss the challenge of achieving safely managed sanitation in urban areas and the types of research the WASH research group in the University of Leeds School of Civil Engineering does to confront the challenge of delivering high quality sanitation in complex urban environments. It covers work on Shit Flow Diagrams, showcases on-going evaluations and discusses the novel work on greenhouse gas emissions from on-site sanitation systems.
